Richard is a full-time musician who started classical piano lessons at the age of six, was composing by the age of 12 and played in his first band at 15. He graduated in 1997 from the Birmingham Conservatoire, UK. He runs a studio in Melbourne: Brunswick Arranging, playing most of the instruments. He made his conducting debut in 2012 with his first commissioned string arrangement - Talaria.
